“Hey, you can’t use your cell phone in the gym” I hear as I am walking into the gym while having a conversation on my cell phone. Can you believe that was his pick up line?! I seriously laugh so hard thinking about it now. At the time I was initially annoyed but when I looked up to see a tall, handsome man standing outside the front door of the gym I suddenly didn’t seem to mind. Just for reference this was in 2002 when cell phones with cameras kinda first came out. I don’t even think we knew what a “selfie” was at that time!
I’m pretty sure he eventually introduced himself and I made sure to workout a few more times a week than I had been 🙂
4 years (and many workouts) later we were married!
2 years later we had our first baby girl, Anya. and another 2 years and our family was complete with twin babies we named Nikolaj and Natalia.
